Patchouli Joe’s Books and Indulgences in downtown Denton will move to a new location with a tentative opening date in September, manager Charlie Forester said.
The new location is just down the road on West Mulberry Street where beauty salon The Filling Station was previously located. The current location at 221 W. Hickory St. will remain open until the new location is ready for business, Forester said.

After a January announcement that the store would close due to higher operating costs and lower sales, staff at the bookstore launched a crowdfunding campaign to help the store stay in business, according to previous reporting.
