The Denton Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Market Behind the Square in downtown Denton.

The business originally opened in October 2025, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
Owners Lezli and Joe Collins worked in butchery and meat sales for more than 45 years, Joe Collins said at the event.
“People come in and ask us how business is going and are genuinely interested,” Lezli Collins said. “We’ve been held by this community.”
Lezli Collins said the company has no plans to expand after opening the downtown Denton market.
