The Texas Revolution, a professional indoor football league team, will now play home games at the Ford Center at The Star for the next three years.

The team made the announcement Dec. 18 at the Dallas Cowboys headquarters.

"We're thrilled to welcome the Texas Revolution to the ever-growing list of exciting events held at the Ford Center at The Star," said Chad Estis, Dallas Cowboys executive vice president of business operations, in a statement. "We look forward to giving football fans another reason to visit The Star and support a fun and family environment that the Revolution will provide each week during this upcoming season and beyond."

The team will utilize half of the 12,000-seat facility, and capacity for indoor football will be approximately 6,360 for the team's seven regular-season home games.

The team announced it would be be moving to Frisco from Allen in August 2017. The team played its 2018 season at the Dr Pepper Arena.
