Two steel arches are set to be installed this summer on Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s Silver Line bridge over US 75 in Richardson.
Mobility program manager Daniel Herrig provided an update on the construction of the arches as well as the ongoing work on the Cotton Belt Trail at the May 11 City Council meeting.
What you need to know
The Silver Line began rail service in October 2025, with a route that included a bridge passing over US 75 in Richardson. Two steel arches are set to be installed this summer on both sides of the bridge to complete what Herrig said will be a “visual gateway” into Richardson.
