Despite a delay, residents will soon have a chance to finish up their holiday shopping at an upcoming pop-up event in Richardson.

In partnership with The Boho Market, CityLine Plaza is bringing back its Merry Market on Dec. 18 from noon-8 p.m. Initially, the event was scheduled for Dec. 9. However, that was postponed due to expected weather conditions.

At the market, located at 1150 State St., visitors will find more than 70 local vendors and makers selling a variety of goods, all of which The Boho Market officials said are either vintage, handcrafted or fair trade.

In addition to shopping, the Merry Market will include other activities, including a “modern wreath-making workshop,” featuring instructors from the Creative Arts Guild of Wylie that costs $35 per person, as well as a handful of holiday-themed crafts for kids. The pop-up event will also have live music performances throughout the day from performers, including the RCN Jazz Quartet, the Contemporary Chorale, the Richardson Community Chorale, the Richardson Church of Nazarene Choir & Orchestra, John Herbert, and the J.J. Pierce Mustang Stampede.

Free parking for the event will be available along State Street or on the ground level of all parking garages.
