“If you live near Carter Ranch, thank you for being patient with us,” Assistant City Manager Kim Brawner said at a Jan. 9 Celina City Council meeting. “We’re working through it as quickly as we can.”
The breakdown
The project tackles Ownsby Parkway from Preston Road to Coit Road, according to Celina’s capital improvement projects database. Construction on the $19 million project began in October and it is funded by the city of Celina.
“It’s a significant investment in Celina’s infrastructure,” Brawner said.
