Starting Dec. 26, Prosper residents will be able to recycle their live Christmas trees at Tucker Park. The drop-off location will be accessible 24/7 and is free of charge for the disposal of natural Christmas trees, according to the city website. City officials ask residents to remove all lights, ornaments, decorations, tinsel, garland and other non-organic materials before dropping off the tree.
Frosted or flocked trees will not be accepted at the collection site.
