Celina’s annual Halloween event Beware! of the Square returns to downtown Celina on Oct. 26.

The event will feature several activities, including trick-or-treating at vendor booths, bounce houses, pumpkin painting, live performances and Halloween photo opportunities throughout the square, according to a city news release.

Additionally, the high school and middle school theater departments will host its Haunted House at Two29 on the Square.

"Our Beware! of the Square celebration is one of the most highly-anticipated events we host each year," Mayor Ryan Tubbs said in the news release. "The energy and enthusiasm from our community make this festival truly remarkable, and we are excited to highlight again why Celina stands as the premier Halloween destination in North Texas."

Live entertainment includes magic shows, fire lasso performers, aerial silk performances, acrobats and LED hologram spinners and the first 3,000 children to visit the Ace Hardware booth will receive a complimentary trick-or-treat bag.

Also on site will be Carter Bloodcare, allowing attendees to donate blood and participate in a Battle of the Badge between the Celina Police Department and the Celina Fire Department. Lastly, event parking and free shuttle services will be available from Moore Middle School and Collin College Celina Campus.
