Jefferson Ownsby, a 436-unit apartment community planned off Preston Road, will be located at 317 E. Ownsby Parkway and is being developed by JPI, according to the release.
Lone Star PACE, an administrator for commercial property assessed clean energy financing, helped facilitate the funding to support energy and water saving efficiency for the complex.
Planned upgrades include high-efficiency windows, enhanced wall and roof insulation, LED lighting and upgraded HVAC systems, according to the release.
The four-building complex is expected to feature amenities such as a pool, fitness center, dog park and a standalone clubhouse, according to the apartment community’s website.
