At its May 13 meeting, Celina City Council approved several items related to the fourth phase of the development.
The details
When it’s complete, the project should include more than 1,500 single-family homes. The fourth phase, however, will bring 289 of these homes to the city.
A public improvement district (PID) was created to help fund the development in 2017. One of the items approved by council was a restated agreement regarding the PID.
The fourth phase of development encompasses about 80 acres of land in Celina and cost more than $16.8 million, according to city documents. The full development exceeds 480 acres.
This phase will also include improvements to area roadways, sewer and storm drainage.
