3. Mango Nail Bar

The salon will offer a number of hand and foot services, owner Viet Tran said, including manicures, pedicures, nail polish application and more. The business was originally going to be called Blossom Nail Bar, but Tran said he decided to change to name.

4. School of Rock

The music education business was expected to open in August, but the storms in late May delayed the building’s construction, Brannan said. Once open, the company will provide a number of music lessons including guitar, drums, keyboard and singing. School of Rock will offer programs for all ages and experience levels.5. Spitz

The restaurant will serve Mediterranean food with a menu featuring wraps, salads, gyros and bowls. They offer a variety of vegan, paleo and gluten-free options. Spitz has locations in Frisco and Plano.In the news




6. Top Shelf Liquor and Fine Wine

Jerry’s Liquor in Prosper has been renamed Top Shelf Liquor and Fine Wine on Aug. 5. The store sells liquors such as bourbon, gin and vodka, as well as beer, wine and mixers. A company representative said the new owners purchased the store several months ago, and the change in name has been gradual. The store has an extensive bourbon section, and the new owners plan on expanding the store's tequila selection, the representative said.7. Shipley Do-Nuts

The bakery will sell doughnuts in a variety of flavors, as well as other goods such as kolaches, cinnamon rolls and more. An opening date is unknown and Shipley Do-Nut representatives did not return a request for comment; however, documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation estimate renovations to wrap up in November.
