Suburban Yacht Club, a new restaurant from 33 Restaurant Group, opened Sept. 7 at The Boardwalk at Granite Park in Plano. The new cantina is inspired by Southern California and features a variety of unique dishes such as Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Elote, Jala-piña BBQ Chicken Asado and the Epic Shrimp Burrito.

“Under the leadership of a great team of culinary professionals including Culinary Director Brian C. Luscher and Director of Operations Kristin Wisniewski, we are ready to share a yacht club experience in the heart of Plano,” 33 Restaurant Group founder Preston Lancaster said in a statement. “From the overall decor and color palette reminiscent of San Diego sunsets to the ebb and flow of the Pacific, every detail is a departure from everyday Texas to an unforgettable SoCal experience.”

The restaurant’s drink menu includes tropical cocktails, sangrias on tap, Scorpion Bowls meant to be shared among friends and margaritas. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. with drink and food specials.
