Correction: The headline previously misstated the dates of the closures. They are occurring in September, not August. The direction of a connector ramp was also corrected.

Both east- and westbound President George Bush Turnpike connector ramps to southbound Dallas North Tollway will close this weekend.

The North Texas Tollway Authority announced partial DNT lane closures south of the intersection of PGBT and DNT will last from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Crews will close the southbound connector ramps leading from PGBT to the DNT from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

A minimum of one lane will be open at all times along the DNT, according to the NTTA. Crews will also close various southbound entrance and exit ramps between Haverwood Lane and Keller Springs Road, though only one will be closed at a time.

Motorists traveling along PGBT will be able to access southbound DNT lanes by taking detours along Midway and Frankford roads.

The construction work will include relocating light poles and adding stripes along the fourth lane of the Dallas North Tollway, according to NTTA. Crews expect to complete this project by early 2018.
