Abbassi Surgical Associates is a new surgical care clinic with locations opening in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Dr. Babak Abbassi is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery, medical assistant Ava Azizi said. Other services the clinic offers include:
- Hernia repair
- Gallbladder and biliary surgery
- Colon and small intestine surgery
- Foregut and reflux surgery
- Breast surgery
- Skin cancer and Soft tissue surgery
- Adrenal surgery
The clinic opened its Rockwall and McKinney locations in April. Its Plano location is opening in late May.
