Fadia's Plano Charbel and Fadia Hamad moved their deli and bakery to Plano in May.[/caption] After 10 years in Richardson, Charbel and Fadia Hamad relocated Fadia's Bakery & Deli to Plano. Located at 910 W. Parker Road, Ste. 100-D, the Lebanese bakery and restaurant opened May 24. The Hamad's started the business selling homemade bread. Over the years, the selection has grown to include sweets, such as baklava, date cookies and kenefe. The Plano location also serves authentic Lebanese pizzas and sandwiches, including gyros and grilled chicken wraps. All items are made fresh daily and the deli is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. The Hamad's also started selling their baklava to Central Market stores about three years ago.
"Fadia is a great cook and all of our friends love her food," Charbel said. "In Richardson, our place was really small. This is 100 times better for space and location." For more information, visit www.fadiasdeli.com.
