At their Sept. 16 meeting, Plano City Council members approved two items tied to a waterline rehabilitation project in east Plano.
What you need to know
Rehabilitation work will include replacing over 12,000 feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch waterlines as well as concrete pavement and ramps, according to city documents.
The $3.89 million contract was awarded to KIK Underground LLC, and an associated item for construction materials testing was awarded to Raba Kistner Inc., according to city documents.
Looking ahead
The project is currently anticipated to wrap up in November 2026, according to Plano’s Community Investment Program map.
