Dallas Area Rapid Transit is offering additional services for riders attending St. Patrick’s Day festivities, including the St. Paddy’s Day Dash Down Greenville 5K and 2023 Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival on March 11.
Rail service will be added to the Red and Orange line trains between Parker and Victory stations to provide rides for runners and those attending the parade and festival, according to a news release from DART.
From Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Dallas, customers can ride the Green Line and transfer to either the Orange or Red lines in downtown Dallas.
Additionally, passengers riding the Trinity Railway Express can transfer to Orange or Red line trains at Victory Station.
Detours will be in place for bus routes 3 and 17 until the parade concludes.
DART stated in an announcement that it encourages riders to allow extra time due to increased service demand March 11.
