Severe weather early May 28 has left debris in many Plano roadways, while some residents remain without power.

What you need to know

City of Plano crews are working to clear debris from the roadway, including downed trees, according to a news release from city Director of Media Relations Steve Stoler.

City staff are asking residents to report any downed trees to the city’s public works department at 972-769-4160. Downed limbs on private property are not a priority unless they are a “life/safety issue,” according to the release.

Plano crews are also working to restore power to traffic signals, according to the release. Residents are also able to report power outages or check for updates on Oncor’s website.

All Plano libraries are open, besides Harrington Library.
