The Goddard School of Frisco Legacy is a 10,000 square foot facility with 10 classrooms and has the ability to provide care for approximately 140 students, according to a Sept. 8 news release. The school will add 20 teaching jobs to the Frisco community, the release stated.
The Frisco Legacy school is owned by local parents Kiran and Hanif Shamji, who have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 17 years, according to the release.
“As parents, we understand the importance of a warm, nurturing and education-focused environment where children can learn and grow,” Kiran Shamji said in the release. “It is a privilege to partner with local families and inspire a love of learning in their children through safe, joyful exploration, and we are thrilled to become part of the wonderful Frisco community.”
The school features a dramatic arts space, a basketball court and multiple playgrounds, as well as hospital-grade sanitization equipment, the release stated. The school also offers enrichment classes including sign language, secondary languages, art history, music and yoga.
Classroom ages range from infant to pre-K. The school is open on weekdays from 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
