Diving in deeper

The Giving Machine launched in 2017, and has raised over $32 million since its inception.

In 2023, The Giving Machine made stops in three North Texas cities, including Fort Worth, Grapevine and McKinney. During those stops, over $630,000 was raised for local and global charities, a spokesperson for the organization said.

Organization officials are looking to make a bigger impact with this year’s 3-city lineup in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, they said, including at the new Frisco stop.

"Frisco's Parks and Rec invited us to be part of their Merry Main Street festival and family-friendly holiday activities on Frisco Square," Giving Machine spokesperson Erik Egan said in an emailed statement. "Their holiday ambience is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable giving experience."

The Giving Machine’s Frisco stop will also provide easy access to the machine due to nearby tollways, Egan said. The Texas machine will also make stops in Austin, Houston and San Antonio.
