Aiotics, an artificial intelligence startup focused on expanding AI and machine learning, is moving from Plano to McKinney. With a grant from the McKinney Economic Development Corp.'s Innovation Fund, the company plans to create 20 new jobs over the next three years, bringing its total number of employees to 22 with an average salary of $70,000, per a news release.

Aiotics was founded by software developer Maruthi Karpey and has signed a lease for its new headquarters at the Barclays Technology Center, located at 6800 Weiskopf Ave., near Craig Ranch.

“The MEDC not only invests in tech startups, but the people behind them,” said Mike DePaola, director of technology and research at the MEDC, in a news release. “Maruthi has created an amazing company, Aiotics, that can disrupt customer support and other enterprise business applications. Their knowledge of AI, deep learning, and ML technology is evident in their product road map. We are very excited to have Aiotics start their journey here in McKinney.”
