Dogtopia will mark its first anniversary with a fall carnival Oct. 17 at 8416 Stacy Road, McKinney. The modern, nearly 5,500-square-foot, open-play facility allows dogs to socialize and learn skills. Dogtopia also recently completed a fenced-in outdoor area for dogs to enjoy the sun. The fall carnival will allow carnival-goers to explore this new area from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and will feature free food, games and tours. 972-954-2322. www.dogtopia.com/mckinney
