Graphite Pencil + Paper opened Oct. 26 at 211 N. Tennessee St., McKinney, in the former location of 31Ten Boutique. The store strives to renew the lost form of written communication, according to the owners. Graphite will offer a wide variety of pencils from international and national brands, as well as sharpeners, erasers, stationary, stickers, cards, books, socks, T-shirts and more. The store will also host events and monthly classes to teach handwriting, calligraphy, letter writing, journaling and sketching, among other skills.
