Medical City McKinney will be led by its new CEO, Mark Deno, according to a July 31 news release.

The appointment comes following the retirement of previous Medical City McKinney CEO Ernest Lynch, who retired in July after serving in the role for over 20 years. Deno begins his role with the organization Aug. 1.

The background

Deno has served as the CEO of Medical City North Hills since August 2019. During his five-year tenure with the hospital, it was awarded five-star ratings for specialty care services in various departments, including:
  • Cardiac
  • Critical care
  • Gastrointestinal
  • Neurosciences
  • Orthopedics
Deno earned a master’s degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University. He also previously served as the CEO of The Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado, the release stated.
