McKinney City Hall, located at 401 E. Virginia St., will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 for Christmas, according to the city’s website. Other facilities scheduled to close include McKinney Municipal Court and John and Judy Gay Library.
Trash and recycling collection will pause Dec. 25 but will resume the following day. The schedule will slide by one day, so those originally scheduled for collection Thursday will be serviced Dec. 26.
Collection will also pause Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day but will resume the following day. The schedule will slide by one day.
