After opening a new facility in McKinney
last October, Dynacraft, a PACCAR company, plans to move its division headquarters to the city as well.
The company predicts the transition from its current headquarters in Algona, Washington to be complete by early 2020. The move is expected to bring about 50 new jobs to McKinney, according to a city news release.
Dynacraft's manufacturing facility is located at 3490 Redbud Blvd., McKinney.
The 184,000-square-foot truck part manufacturing facility assembles PACCAR’s proprietary steer axle and produces fuel tanks and subassemblies for North American PACCAR truck plants.
The McKinney Economic Development Corp. provided economic incentive for the initial build of Dynacraft's manufacturing facility under an agreement that PACCAR bring 200 jobs to the city over the next five to six years and make capital investments of more than $20 million. No further incentives were provided for the headquarter's relocation.
