Here is a list of five events happening in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area May 8-10, including Mother's Day activities and a murder mystery show.

1. Outdoor Mother's Day event
Wayback Barn in McKinney is hosting a Mother's Day weekend event with activities such as tetherball, cornhole, 9 Square and mini-golf for an additional fee. There will be a speciality drink for the occasion and space for kids to run and play.
2. Night market in Richardson
The Boho Market at CityLine Plaza is offering night markets on the second Friday of the month with live music, local artisans and dining options at on-site restaurants. Guests can shop small and support local businesses.
3. Murder mystery dinner show in Fort Worth
Adults and supervised teenagers can enjoy a murder mystery dinner show at the Hilton Garden Inn Alliance in Fort Worth. Each ticket includes dinner, murder-mystery entertainment, gratuity for wait staff, prize package for top sleuth and other highlights.
4. Lamborghini show in Grapevine
Harvest Hall will host the Lamborghini Club Dallas and offer guests the chance to view 25 Lamborghinis up close. The event is free to the public, and attendees can grab a bite to eat at Harvest Hall for an additional cost.
5. Mother's Day market in Plano
Legacy Hall is hosting a Mother's Day market with shopping, vendors, gifts and additional experiences. There will be various activities, including a permanent jewelry station, live music, a bouquet bar, a hat bar and more.
