The impact

This is the fourth year McKinney has hosted a stop on the DCI 2025 Summer Tour. The DCI McKinney event is locally organized by the organizing committee and nonprofit organization Marching Music Made in McKinney.

In addition to the DCI McKinney event, the organization also hosted a drumline expo at Tupps Brewery on July 20.

Proceeds from both events directly benefit McKinney ISD’s band programs, according to the organization’s website. More information can be found at www.marchingmusicmckinney.org.
