A newly-constructed stand-alone Starbucks is set to open Aug. 11 in south McKinney, staff at the location confirmed.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction began Oct. 2024 and had an estimated cost of $1,100,000.

The establishment, which was founded in Seattle in 1971, sells a variety of beverages including coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches and protein boxes, are also on the menu.
