Hamm’s Meat + Market Co-owners Noah and Lacey Hester are now business partners with John and Brandi Johnson, the co-owners of Corner BBQ Shack in north McKinney. Rebranding of the business to ‘The Shack by Chef Noah Hester’ is also underway.

The context

When Corner BBQ Shack re-opened for the season March 28, Noah said the partnership was officially forged. Noah said over the years Hamm’s had purchased meat from the Johnsons ranch, Cornerstone Farms, and they had formed a great relationship.

Noah said although Corner BBQ Shack is only a 10 minute drive from downtown McKinney, it feels like you’re in the country and he loves to see the yard packed with kids playing and parents enjoying their meal.

The impact

Noah said some of the changes to the menu will include the addition of top selling menu items from Hamm’s Meat + Market, including the smash burger, Texas Wagyu hotdog and a Wagyu tri tip sandwich. Other menu items include pork belly burnt ends, Wagyu steak salad, brisket, pulled pork and more.

The supper club offered at Hamm’s, featuring seven courses with wine pairings, will also be offered at Corner BBQ Shack and will have more seating capacity.
