A new Starbucks location is now open in East McKinney.

The Seattle-based coffee company is known for its wide variety of hot and cold espresso drinks, including its frappuccino blended beverages. The menu includes a variety of food items including sandwiches and bakery items. The shop offers a drive-thru and customers can also order ahead through the Starbucks app.

There are more than 10 other Starbucks locations in McKinney, including some located inside grocery stores such as Target and Kroger, according to the company’s website. The new East McKinney coffee shop is located on the site of a former Chicken Express restaurant, which was destroyed in a fire in late 2022.
