Chip City Cookies permanently closed all locations nationwide Oct. 2, including the locations in Frisco and McKinney.
What happened
Founded in July 2017, Chip City Cookies specialized in oversized cookies, offering a rotating menu of 186 flavors, including classics like chocolate chip and creative varieties like cannoli and horchata.
According to the company website, Chip City Cookies closed all its locations after struggling to stabilize the business amid broader economic challenges. The Frisco and McKinney locations marked Chip City Cookies' only North Texas storefronts.
Following the closure of all its physical locations, Chip City Cookies will continue offering nationwide shipping and catering services through its website.
