California-based Chinese food chain Panda Express is opening a new location in McKinney, according to documents from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.

Panda Express has served fast casual Chinese fare since they opened the first location in Glendale, California in 1983, according to the company’s website. Construction on the location is expected to begin in July and be complete in summer 2026, the filing states.
