A second Nekter Juice Bar franchise is expected to open in McKinney.

Construction on the store started in February and is slated for completion in April, according to a filing with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The juice bar’s menu features acai bowls, juices and smoothies, according to the website.

Another location, which opened about a year ago according to a company representative, is at Hub 121 in south McKinney. Nekter Juice Bar was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Santa Ana, CA.
