The first Dallas-Fort Worth area Broken Yolk Cafe is set to open in south McKinney in 2024, according to Senior Marketing Director Maud King-Lewis.

The restaurant will offer breakfast and brunch with menu items that include chicken fried steak and eggs, omelets, eggs Benedict, pancakes, waffles, and more. The restaurant also offers lunch options, including wraps, salads, sandwiches and burgers, according to its website.

Broken Yolk Cafe was founded in San Diego in 1979 and has grown to include nearly 40 locations in six states, including one South Texas location, according to its website. The planned McKinney location is likely to open in April or May, King-Lewis said in an email.
