The first McKinney location of Hawaiian-style eatery Mo’ Bettahs is slated to open in December, according to a representative of the company.

The restaurant will be located at 6201 S. Custer Road, Ste. 800, McKinney, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Mo’ Bettahs’ menu features Hawaiian staple dishes, including kalua pig and pulehu chicken, according to its website. Diners choose from three combo plate options, which come with white rice and macaroni salad.

The company, started in 2008, has over 40 locations across six states, according to its website. Three other Mo’ Bettahs locations are scheduled to open this year in the Dallas-Fort Worth-area, including locations in Frisco, Sachse and Forney. www.mobettahs.com
