The national fast-casual chain Shake Shack has a new stand-alone location under construction in east McKinney.

The new restaurant is located at 1727 N. Central Expressway, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The 3,300-square-foot restaurant will feature a 1,270-square-foot covered patio and a two-lane drive thru, according to planning documents for the project. The restaurant will be located adjacent to Jason’s Deli and Hooters in the Cameron Crossing shopping center at the southwest corner of US 380 and US 75.

Shake Shack's menu includes the company's signature burgers and milkshakes in addition to chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and crinkle-cut french fries. The eatery has nearly 300 locations in North America, including 22 in Texas, according to its website. A phone number is not yet available. www.shakeshack.com
