Construction is in various stages of completion at The Landing, a new multi-building retail development situated on a 12-acre site in McKinney, Albert Enterprises President Cary Albert said.

The project by development company Albert Enterprises will bring new restaurants, retailers and service-based businesses to McKinney.

What’s happening

The Learning Experience, a preschool, will be located on the rear-middle pad and is set to break ground on a new location in the first quarter of 2026.

Qdoba, a fast-casual Mexican eatery, will open in 2026 on the eastern end of The Landing.

The easternmost portion of the property will feature an Albert Enterprises retail strip center, which will house a variety of confirmed tenants including:Other planned tenants include a nail spa and massage spa. Blue Lake Dental is set to open Jan. 19, the practice owners said. Barrio Tacos + Tequila + Whiskey is set to open early February, Albert said.

Also of note

Black Rock Coffee Bar, a freestanding Albert Enterprises-owned building, opened in the development in September.


Albert Enterprises is also developing a 9,200-square-foot retail strip center behind Black Rock Coffee Bar that will house three or four tenants.
