Modera McKinney Ridge will include 381 apartment homes and is one component of a 400-acre master-planned development, according to a news release. Construction started in March with first move-ins expected in fall 2024.
Floor plans will include one-, two- and three-bedroom options with an average size of 1,025 square feet.
The specifics
The community will feature design inspired by McKinney’s commercial history and agricultural history of the surrounding area, according to the news release. Amenities will include:

- A multilevel courtyard
- A beer garden with outdoor fire pit
- A screened porch with harvest dining table
- A resident clubhouse with a catering kitchen
- Remote and coworking space
- A coffee bar
- A fitness center

Modera McKinney Ridge is located less than a mile from US 75, providing direct connectivity to Allen, Plano, Frisco, Richardson and downtown Dallas. The community will also be located near the 212-acre Erwin Park.
