Truck manufacturer and Fortune 500 company PACCAR is expected to open a new manufacturing facility in McKinney for its Dynacraft division. The new 130,000 square foot facility will be built at Wilmeth Road and Redbud Boulevard. The agreement is expected to be finalized within the coming weeks. Under the agreement, PACCAR will make capital investments of over $20 million and bring 200 jobs to the community over the next six years. “McKinney is an excellent community for Dynacraft’s new manufacturing facility,” Dynacraft General Manager Anthony Levi said in the release. “We appreciate the outstanding support from the city of McKinney and MEDC.” Founded in 1968, Dynacraft provides PACCAR's truck manufacturing and parts service divisions "high-quality components, subassemblies and specialized services," according to the company website. Today, Dynacraft supplies more than 25,000 component and assembly part numbers for Peterbilt and Kenworth vehicles.
