The business has operated in four different locations on the downtown square since 2010, and Streber has also worked in studio space and other spots on the square, including at McKinney Art Gallery. Streber is a silversmith and makes a variety of jewelry art including necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.
Work on the business’s new 775-square-foot location is underway, and Streber said she aims to debut the space in early September. In addition to Streber’s silversmithing art, the shop will also offer pottery, small leather goods, candles and local wall art, she said. The space will also serve as Streber’s silversmithing studio.
“My dream is to be able to move my tools and equipment to a real working studio space where I can feature my craft along with a curated collection of other handmade art,” Streber said in an email.
