De La Vega Capital and Development announced 14 businesses and restaurants that will debut in the West Grove development in 2025. West Grove is a 53-acre mixed-use development, which will bring restaurants, retail, office space and residences to west McKinney. 7. Big Blue Marble Academy

Big Blue Marble Academy acquired three locations of Oak Brook School, including one in McKinney, on Dec. 13. The school serves students ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 years old, and offers early childhood care, preschool, after-school care and summer camp programs.8. Chase Bank


A roughly 3,300-square-foot Chase Bank location is planned for west McKinney, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction, which includes a one-story retail banking center with a drive-up ATM, is expected to be completed in August.Closing
