Lifted Trucks' expansion into McKinney aimed to meet Texas' truck community needs.

"Texas is a big market," said Mike Halland, marketing manager of Lifted Trucks. "McKinney is a perfect fit for us. We're not just about selling trucks; we want to become part of treating our customers like family."

Lifted Trucks offers customized and stock used trucks, and also offers customization services for trucks.

The background

In November 2022, Lifted Trucks expanded its presence to McKinney.

Founded in the mid-1990s in Arizona, the company originated as a local shop specializing in custom truck and SUV builds. When the company started, Halland said there were few options to buy customized off-road trucks straight off the lot.

Over time, company representatives recognized a growing demand for customized off-road vehicles and expanded their operations, now with nine locations across the United States, including three in Texas and a new location soon to open in San Antonio. Patrons seek out the dealership for its craftsmanship and personalized solutions, Halland said.

"At Lifted Trucks, we differentiate ourselves with our focus on building custom trucks and our unwavering commitment to quality,” Halland said. “From color-coded bolts on suspension products to ensure accountability, we prioritize delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship."

Diving deeper

Lifted Trucks places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, General Sales Manager Dave Wilkinson said. The dealership offers a comprehensive range of services, from custom builds to specialty modifications tailored to individual preferences and requirements.

"We're more than just a dealership; we're a community," Halland added.

The dealership's dedication to service has gotten attention beyond its customer base, earning recognition from celebrities such as Kevin Costner, who became a customer and collaborator, according to a news release.

Looking Ahead

Halland said he anticipates continued growth, driven by strong customer demand and the company's expansion plans across all locations.

"We're always looking forward," Halland said. “The co-owners anticipate more locations and more opportunities to bring quality truck customization to even more enthusiasts."
