The electrical distribution facility offers a variety of products used in electrical work, including wire, pipe, lighting supplies and more, Branch Manager Paul Codd said. The business offers products for commercial and residential projects as well as industrial projects. Lonestar Electric Supply also offers equipment rentals.
“[It's] a one-stop shop for all electrical needs,” Codd said.
While the business is open to the general public, Codd said the business will work to serve local licensed contractors and electrical professionals.
The McKinney business is the third North Texas location for Lonestar Electric Supply, joining locations in Dallas and Fort Worth. The company targeted the area due to the high growth in the Collin County area, Codd said.
“Having a location in Dallas and Fort Worth, [McKinney] just seemed like the perfect location as far as ... triangulating the metroplex area to service our customers,” he said.
The company, which was founded in 2015, has 12 total locations in the state and more planned, according to its website.
