Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods is scheduled to open in its first McKinney location in 2024, according to a representative of the company.

The store will be located at 2900 W. University Drive, Ste. 100, McKinney, near Skyline Drive. Spec’s is a Houston-based liquor store with over 180 locations, according to its website. The store offers a variety of beers, wines, spirits and food items.

The company is one of more than 10 liquor stores that have applied for or received permits since McKinney voters approved a ballot proposition for the sale of packaged liquor products in November.
