The company, which employs 14 people, purchased land in the Lakeside Village development in March, and its new building will be located at 2910 Lakeside Village Parkway, according to a Lakeside DFW news release.
“In addition to easy access for our clients, we wanted a vibrant location to create the right experience for our clients," GDS Wealth Management executive Glen Smith said in the release.
The move to Lakeside Village will offer the chance to be in a place that contributes to the quality of life for employees, according to the release.
“I remember seeing the plans for Lakeside Village back in 2018 with the amphitheater by the lake, the high rises and the restaurants overlooking the lake,” Smith said in the release. “I wanted to get in on the ground floor.”
The company plans to continue growing in the coming years, and its new Flower Mound office will help with that growth, according to the release. The firm is located on Long Prairie Road in Flower Mound.
“But at our current growth rate, we wanted a location large enough to accommodate our team’s growth for at least 10 years. This new office will allow us to expand, and we will have room for as many as 72 teammates at GDS Wealth Management,” Smith said in the release. “We really want to put our stake in the ground as not just one of the top wealth management firms in Flower Mound, but in the entire state of Texas.”
