Denton County Public Health has reported 113 new positive cases of novel coronavirus and one death in the county in the past 24 hours.

There have been 3,810 confirmed cases in the county, including 39 deaths and 1,430 residents who have recovered. The most recent death, a 40-year-old Frisco man, was reported July 10.

On July 3, the county recorded 152 new cases of COVID-19, the most confirmed cases in a single day since Denton County began tracking the virus in March.

Among Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village area ZIP codes, ZIP code 75067 has the greatest number of confirmed cases, with 441 total. Of the ZIP codes' positive cases, 168 have recovered.

ZIP codes 75067 and 75056 had the largest increase in cases since July 2, both with more than 75 additional reports of positive tests.


All other ZIP codes had 31 or fewer additional cases reported in the last week.
Denton County does not report deaths by ZIP code.
