Four elementary campuses and a middle school in Lewisville ISD officially have new principals.

The board of trustees approved the hiring of the five new campus principals at its April meeting: LaShundra Wilson, Jennifer Driver, Matt Rainey, Tabitha Richardson and Jacob Garlinger.

Wilson was named principal of Degan Elementary School; Driver of Indian Creek Elementary School; Rainey of Liberty Elementary School; Richardson of Morningside Elementary School; and Garlinger of Griffin Middle School.

Wilson has been an assistant principal at Killough High School since 2019 and was also assistant principal at Degan from 2016-19, according to the district. Driver has been an assistant principal at Rockbrook Elementary School.

Rainey served as an administrator and assistant principal for three years at Indian Creek Elementary, according to the district. Richardson spent six years as an administrator and assistant principal at Spears Elementary in Frisco ISD.


Garlinger was an administrator and associate principal for 11 years at Hebron High School, according to the district.
