A pair of properties located along SH 121 Business will be redeveloped into a multifamily housing community.

The details

Lewisville City Council approved a zone change request for a proposed multifamily development to be located at 1910 and 1914 E. SH 121 Business. The two properties are being used as salvage yards, according to the Oct. 2 agenda item.

The development will have three four-story buildings and 251 total residential units. Live-work units will be located on the ground floor facing SH 121 Business.

Some of the other features include:
  • Gated resident access off SH 121 Business and Midway Road with an ungated parking lot along SH 121 Business
  • An interior clubhouse
  • Surface parking with tuck-under garages
  • Dog run and dog wash station
  • Swimming pool
  • Grills
A timeline for the project was not provided.

Rezoning this area aligns with the Lewisville 2025 Vision Plan, according to the agenda item.

“This is kind of looked at as part of an urban village,” Planning Director Richard Luedke said. “This is an area that is emerging that will be more dense and walkable. It really complements Crown Centre, which is just a few hundred feet to the east."
