An industrial building in Lewisville received wall damage resulting from high speed winds earlier this week.

A Lewisville distribution facility operated by New Jersey-based Benjamin Moore received damage from strong winds, which were part of storms that hit North Texas on March 4.

The details

The structural damage to the facility, which is located at 2535 E. SH 121, Ste. 100a in Lewisville, occurred early in the morning March 4 before employees arrived and did not result in any injuries, said Kimberly Flores, Benjamin Moore’s director of public relations and events. Damage included parts of the wall and roof detaching from the building.

The damage was consistent with that caused by 90 mph winds, according to a social media post by the National Weather Service of Fort Worth.

What else?

Flores said repair work to the distribution center is underway, but the company is servicing customers using alternate facilities. The repairs should be completed in the next four to six weeks, Flores added.
